RCC CRUFTS 2007/ 2008
COM Norfolk/Suffolk Novice Trial
Graded on grouse and partridge
A proven dual -purpose Hungarian Vizsla " Tag " gained his full title at his first trial at just two and a half years of age. His dam, Ch Russetmantle Frill gained her full title too by this kennel.
He obtained valuable experience in the beating line at Blenheim and now picks up on their rough shooting days where one of the beatkeepers Lee, thinks he is wonderfull ! He is a far ranging dog having run all of his life with GLP's. Tag is a brave one too , when sent for a bird caught up in a bush in a flooded river , he wouldn't come back until he'd retrieved it. We call him the Shorthaired Longhair !

Breeder Frau Birgit Berns
RESERVE BEST DOG CRUFTS 2008
Recommended by Jutta Rottgen ( Hafkesdell ) Arthur was imported from Germany at 11 months of age. We required further German bloodlines which would compliment those from our foundation stock. We have not been disapointed ! His breeder brought him over and worked him for us in rough brashings on his first day in the UK where he pointed and held a single snipe. In the last two seasons he has gained valuable experience on rough shooting days and as a peg dog for Larry on the Sevington Shoot. At Whitfield he soon learnt to find, point and hold grouse which were shot by a team which included his German breeders, Thomas and Birgit Berns. We think he will be an exceptional dog in the field. This was proved at a recent Spring Pointing Test where the 2 judges remarked the dogs' work was outstanding.
Arthur has sired two litters the " D" ex Bella vd Holzheide and the " E " ex Arany's Baiser. Their competition results so far are exceedingly promising. His litter brothers Amon and Alois are Deutsch Langhaar Verband Breed Dogs and sister, Asta gained First Prize at the 2007 Westfalen LM Junior Prufung .

BEST BITCH CRUFTS 2007
Afra is my "right hand girl " picking up on the Over Norton and Sevington Syndicates. Her working season starts in August " dogging in " on the Blenheim Palace and Kirtlington Estates where she is steady to hundreds of running poults. She soon points and flushes the strayers too !
A superb field dog she has had a tiercel flown over her on a dogging moor near Forres and regularly points partridge for falconry friends. Afra pointed and retrieved the first grouse to be shot for over 20 years on the Stiperstone Moor in Shropshire.
